Dear Aaron,
It was good to see you at the Port Royal Show, last fall at the Dayton, PA rendezvous you sold me your Black Creek Combo Call. After using, Testing & competing with hundreds of calls I thought yours was just another one, until I field-tested it. Not only is the call versatile, with a little practice truly realistic sounds can be produced. I liked your new peg w/ the kee kee whistle (Nice and good thinking) Black Creek is now a permanent part of my turkey-hunting arsenal.

Thanks,

Aaron:

When I agreed to test your various calls I made it a mission to give an honest effort to use only your calls in all my hunting endeavors this year. As a guide here in New York I hunt several different types of game and I can't afford to use gear that I can't depend on,

The quality of your calls in craftsmanship and sound are excellent! I would highly recommend every call that I tested to anyone looking for a quality call that will get the job done. I especially liked the combination calls for their convenience and versatility. I have included a few of the pictures I took of game taken with your calls.

Keep up the good work!
Art Kirk

Aaron,

Here's a picture of a bird I took on May 26, 2002 using my Black Creek Combo Supreme. I also called in 4 other bigger toms early in the season for my nephew and wife to kill. It is extremely convenient to have 3 calls in 1 . And the slate sounds especially good.

Dear Mr. Atkinson,

When I was at the Rochester Gun Show I purchased a turkey call from you, for my father. My Dad called in this 19 lb. turkey with a 10 in. beard using your call. We were successful, it works great! Thanks.

It was the 2nd week of the season and my friend and I decided to go out later in the morning (So we could get some sleep) and set up decoys in an area where we had seen turkeys strutting before the season. I took out your box call combo and did some sharp cutting with the box and then some light yelp and purrs on the slate, That’s when I herd a bird roar to our left in the woods. I kept purring and clucking on the slate and the bird was on his way. 5 Minutes and some soft calling and I lined up on the three year old gobbler’s head and ended the hunt. Thanks for making great call.!

This old gobbler would not talk after opening week; He roosted in the same area but would not gobble on the roost. He had hung up at 80 yards twice, he must have herd every commercial call on the market. On May 22’nd I called with your combo call and Got a gobble off the roost. After a challenging hunt he responded and the rest is history!! Great hand made calls!!

Aaron :
You make great calls!. My son showed me how to work your call for clucks, purrs, and cuts. If I can call in toms anyone can!. I hunt for meat so getting 2 jakes 1 May 5th and 1 May 6th was my best year ever. One of which I was able to call away from 6 hens and a more dominant tom. Do you make deer, duck and goose calls? If not you should!

Thanks

Aaron:
I hope your spring turkey hunt in South Dakota was a good one. Let me know how it went. Attached are some photos of Al and myself my hunting partner. These birds were taken in Custer state park, Custer SD. on the 2nd day of the season. It took less than 1/2 hour these birds in. Your "Slatebox Supreme" worked great, the tones were perfect and it was so nice to have all those calls in " one" call. I showed the call to most of the hunters we talked to and they thought it was great. Thanks again for the call, it will be used again in a couple of weeks when we hunt NE South Dakota.

Dear Aaron:

Monday morning second day of turkey season, I started calling with a mouth call and switched to your box call and within 15 minutes I had 3 jakes and two long beardes come in across the field to within 20 yards of me. I shot one 9 and 1/2 inch beard that weighed 21 and 1/4 pounds. your call really works thank you.

Aaron:

this is a picture of the 17 pound turkey I shot with the aid of your slatebox supreme and the tube call. I located this bird with the box call. Brought him in close with the slate. He was in full strut walking away when I gave a loud cluck to get his head up, with the tube call. He had a 10 inch beard and no spurs. your calls make very realistic hen sounds with very little practice. Bird was shot 5-26-04

Hi Aaron, I talked to you the other night about my first turkey. My fried and I both met you at the charlotte, NC gun show where we both bought your 4 in 1 supreme calls. meither of us have turkey hunted but a few times when we got the new calls, but with your instructions, and demonstrations at the show it seemed that it would be easy. on opening day my friend charlie, called in his first turkey (a large tom). But got two impatient and shot before he got into range (I guess it was a case of turkey fever). The following saturday I had a hen fly into the field and I could hear a tom in the woods so I started calling with the slate on the 4 in 1 and he gobbled bact to me. when I finally got him to come into the field he was about 150 yards from me and going towards the hen. then i switched to the box call on the 4 in 1 and brought him away from the hen and over towards me. I got him into 10-15 yards before i shot him. he was a 15 pound jake with a 5 and 1/2 inch beard witch I thought was great fir my first turkey. I was very impressed with the way your call took him away from a live hen and he came over to me. this was only my 5th time tirkey hunting so it had to be the call and not my experience. Thanks Aaron! I woukd like to try the hoot-n-slate because I did notice the turkeys gobbling back when the owls would hoot. I hope to see yall at the next show in charlotte closer to deer season. I will pick up a couple deer calls.

Aaron:
here is a picture of my turkey wich I bagged on monday may 3 at 6:20 am. I heard the turkey gobble around 5:30 am and called with black creek game call. I gave a couple clucks and he responded. it took me around 45 munutes to call him in sight - gobbling and strutting right for my decoy!!
Thanks to black creek game calls I bagged my 21 pound bird with an 8 and 1/2 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs.

Aaron:

I purchased a black creek game call off of you on apr.24,2004 at the elkins, WV gun show. It is the best turkey call I ever used. I went turkey hunting on apr.26,2004 and called up a hen and on the second day I called up a hen and on the third day I called up a gobbler with a 10 and 1/2 inch beard and shot him. then on monday may 3, 2004 I called up a gobbler eith a 9 and 1/2 inch beard and also got hem. I am glad I got this call from you. I would be interested in selling them in my shop.

Mr. Atkinson

Here is a picture of the turkey I harvested down at Junction TX. last week with your Slatebox Supreme. It definitely does the job to call the birds in!. I put the call on display in the picture so anyone I show the picture to will see what I used, and will gladly recommend your calls to them.

Sincerely

Dear Aaron:

Enclosed is a picture of my son mike and I with the gobbler he harvested during Ohio’s youth Turkey hunt last Sunday using your Slatebox Supreme call. 24 lbs. 10” beard and 11/2” spurs. Great sounding call and easy to use.

Thanks a million.

Aaron;

I wanted to drop you a line and show you my first gobbler of the year. I recently bought on of your 3 in 1 calls from Jack Tyszko of Jacks guns in Forestville NY. It took about 20 minutes from seeing him on the edge of the field to get him in for a shot. The bird weighed in at 23lbs had a 7 1/2in beard and 1 1/4 inch spurs. Jack had told me about the call the night before, and said he picked up the call at the Clarence Gun show where he was set up next to you. I have since called in birds for my father and brother with your call. This is one that will remain in my vest for years to come. Thank you for a great product.

Dear Black creek game calls:

enclosed is a photo of my spring 2004 pennsylvania gobbler. your call worked great! he was difficult as usual, but after finally taking my shot at 10 am, I found out why he was so tough to move - he had two types of shot in him esides mine! your call did the trick.
